The blood alkaline lake in Kapedo as explained by the locals and experts

This blood red alkaline according to locals in Kapedo, can easily symbolize the blood that has been spilled in by the locals living in the area as a result of unending conflicts between their neighbors.

However ,Experts say as the lake dries out, its salinity increases. The warm water’s high salt concentration makes what’s left of the lake a prime breeding ground for dunaliella algae, which turns the water bloodred.

As the area suggest in the first paragraph, this area is riddled with insecurities of cattle rustling between locals.
